Before I photographed weddings, I spent years photographing life on the street: fleeting gestures, strange light, ordinary moments that quietly said something.
Weddings are full of the same things. Just with better clothes, more champagne, and occasionally a dance floor that should probably come with a warning label.
I’m Keith, an Oxford-based documentary wedding photographer and the person behind Wychwood Weddings. My work sits between documentary honesty and editorial storytelling, capturing real moments across Oxfordshire, the Cotswolds and beyond on digital and 35mm film.
Most of the day is photographed as it happens. I’ll step in when direction helps, especially for portraits, but I’m not there to turn your wedding into a production. I’m there to notice it properly: the light, the people, the nerves, the laughter, the small things happening quietly around the edges.
Digital gives me speed, clarity and reliability. Film brings texture, softness and that slightly imperfect quality that makes a photograph feel alive.
The result is wedding photography that feels considered, atmospheric and honest, without losing the real shape of the day.
